Rawa Kesari is a special dessert recipe of Karnataka. It is prepared during special occasions and festivals. The recipe is made with sooji and sugar. This is a easy to make and less time consuming dessert recipe.
Sooji: 186 grams
Cashew nuts: 20 grams
Kesar: a pinch
Raisin: 20 grams
Pineapple essence: 2 ml
Pineapple: 75 grams (chopped)
Cardamom: Small 3 piece
Clove: 3 piece
Sugar: 260 grams
Desi ghee: 200 grams
How to make Rawa Kesari:
Take a thick bottom pan, add desi ghee and heat it.
Fry cashew nuts, clove slightly.
Add sooji and fry slightly.
Add water, sugar, pineapple chopped, kesar, pineapple essence
Add cardamom powder and add raisins
